HUDSON - An autopsy performed on the Hudson mother allegedly killed by her son determined that she died of blunt force trauma to her head, chest and abdomen.

The autopsy conducted by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Mitchell Weinberg also found that Christine DeGiacomo's manner of death was homicide.

Grant DeGiacomo, 26, stands charged with second degree murder in connection with the July 5 death of his mother, who was 57.
Hudson police responded around 9:45 p.m. to a disturbance call at 35 Shoal Creek Road where they found Christine DeGiacomo suffering from a traumatic injury, according to a statement sent out by the AG's office on Thursday,
Christine DeGiacomo was transported for emergency medical treatment but was later pronounced dead at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
Grant DeGiacomo is charged with recklessly causing the death of Christine DeGiacomo under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life by repeatedly striking her head, the statement said.
