Motorcyclist injured in Old Dover Road collision

ROCHESTER - A motorcyclist was injured Thursday when he was struck by a car on Old Dover Road.

The crash occurred around 1:10 p.m. when police say a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo driven by Bryanna McElreavy-Hatala, 17, of Rochester was pulling out of Cormier Drive to head north on Old Dover Road when she struck the bike which was headed southbound.

The motorcyclist, John T. Seeley, 63, of Rochester, was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries. Seeley was wearing a helmet.

McElreavy-Hatala was not injured. She was issued a warning for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
