ROCHESTER - A motorcyclist was seriously injured this morning in a collision with a car near The Ridge Marketplace on Farmington Road.
The accident occurred around 6 a.m. when police say it appears the motorcycle was traveling south on Farmington Road and the car, a Honda Accord, turned left to enter the Ridge Market Place parking lot in front of the motorcycle.
The unidentified motorcyclist sustained what police are calling serious injuries and was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. The driver of the Accord was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for precautionary reasons.
The Strafford County Accident Reconstruction team was called in to assist with the investigation. As of this posting they are still investigating, however there are no major traffic delays on Farmington Rd as lanes of travel are still open.
