GILFORD - Today, House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy and House Republican Whip Steve Scalise endorsed Matt Mowers, former State Department Official and candidate for Congress in New Hampshire's First Congressional District.
"After rubber-stamping Joe Biden's failed agenda, Chris Pappas' time in Congress is over," said Leader McCarthy. "The only way to win competitive districts and take back the House in November is with tough and tested conservatives like Matt Mowers, who will work tirelessly for Granite Staters and hold the Biden administration accountable."
"Matt Mowers is a conservative fighter who will put Granite State families and small businesses first," said Whip Scalise. "Now more than ever, we need strong conservatives who will defend the police, secure the southern border, and fight inflation. I know Matt Mowers will get the job done."
"I am thankful to have the endorsement of both Leader McCarthy and Whip Scalise. I look forward to working with them to deliver real results for Granite State families," said Mowers. "New Hampshire deserves a Representative who will fight for them, not rubber-stamp the Pelosi-Biden agenda like Chris Pappas. Instead of record inflation, open borders, and embarrassment on the world stage, we'll make America affordable, safe, and respected again."
