MSCL nets $10G grant for shelving, book upgrades

LEBANON - A $10,000 grant has been awarded to the Martha Sawyer Community Library to update the Young Adult and Adult sections including new shelving, and adding to the library’s Young Adult and Adult book collections.

The grant comes from the Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation.

MSCL librarian Marcy Polletta applied for the grant in November and received the acceptance letter and check earlier this week.

Polletta added that there was “much celebrating” at the library upon receiving the news and check.
