The owner of Lebanon business Just Chevy Trucks and 4X4 Proving Ground was badly burned after his mud vehicle caught on fire during an out-of-town track on Saturday.

Kurt Zeller, who with his wife Brenda both own the business, is currently hospitalized at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was listed in satisfactory condition today.

Brenda Zeller today said her husband was doing fine. She said he has some deeper burns on one arm and may have to have some skin grafts on Friday.

“He’s doing OK,” she said.

Zeller was in his mudder vehicle “Pit Viper” at a private Maine track when the fire erupted. He managed to get out of the vehicle after it ignited.

The Lebanon mud track’s Father’s Day weekend rally will go on as scheduled.
