Muriel Libby ... enjoyed crafting, visiting the beach; at 80

MIDDLETON - Muriel M. Libby, 80, of 715 Kings Highway died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023 at her home.

She was born Dec. 3, 1942 in Rochester, the daughter of Melvin D. and Merleine (Pierce) Bailey. She has resided in Lebanon, Maine, and Middleton all of her life and had worked as a housekeeper at Frisbie Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed crafts, reading, visiting the beach, and traveling to Pennsylvania with her family, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was best known for her smile, witty jokes, and huge heart. She never forgot a birthday or special occasion and made everyone she loved feel extra special.

Members of her family include her loving husband of 64 years, Gardner (Jr.) Libby; daughter, Crystal Ballou; grandchildren, Patty Dumont, Pam Libby, Danielle Ballou, John Libby, and Hailey Ballou; her great grandchildren, Ashlee Christie, Brayden Rodier, Cody Kilbourne; Brother, Melvin Craig Bailey and nieces and nephew, Cheryl Dube, Wayne Thereau, and Naomi Bailey. She was predeceased by her son Gregory (Greg) Libby and her little dog Sassi.
