N.H. man accused in rape at Arundel campground

ALFRED, Maine - A New Hampshire man was arrested on rape charges in connection with an incident at an Arundel campground on the Fourth of July.

The alleged victim reported to police around 10:15 p.m. that the man forcibly raped her at an Arundel campground.

After a brief investigation deputies arrested Nicholas Webb, 40, of Richmond, on a charge a gross sexual assault.

A press release from York County Sheriff William L. King Jr. sent on Friday night did not identify the campground.

Webb was held on $5,000 bail, which he posted several hours later.
