OCALA, Fla. - Nancy Jane Martell died on February 11, 2021 in Ocala, holding the hands of loved ones who could be with her. She was born in Rochester, N.H., to the late Vern O. and Grace Evelyn Currier Remick. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Martell, Sr., and John P. Conway and daughter, Regina Matthews.
Nancy Jane was born in 1934. Nancy Jane lived a full and adventurous life, filled with love, laughter, and the most amazing hugs in the world. She was an amazing cook and was happiest when she was in the kitchen creating some wonderful meal or treats, browsing through cookbooks or sharing recipe ideas with her sons. Her hands were seldom idle as she loved to do crafts, play games on the computer, go shopping for all those "must have" items she collected, and share hugs as often as she could. No member of our family or loved one was ever too big to cuddle on her lap for one of her amazing hugs. Mom will be fondly remembered and sorely missed, and our world will seem hollow with her absence.
Nancy is survived by her sons, James, David, Robert Jr.; daughter, Marilyn; step-daughters, Ann, Annette; loving grandchildren and their families, Michel,Tracy, Robert, III, Jami, Jessica, Jennifer, Jack, Chase, John & Jacob; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mom's wish for you would be to spend time with your loved ones, go on an adventure, make the most of each day, and share your love without limits.
