MILTON - Nancy Marilyn (Prime) Barca was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away after a period of illness on April 24, 2021, surrounded by the love and support of her family.

Nancy loved to travel, enjoying family fall foliage drives, bus trips gambling, a two month dream cruise around the world, and visiting the warm Florida beaches when the New England winters blew in the cold and snow. She enjoyed playing Pokino with friends, Scrabble with family, attending meat raffles at her local Moose Lodge, and spending time with her grandchildren. She and her daughter Laura were co-owners of a local function and catering business, The Silver Platter, for many years. Her love of cooking and entertaining made holidays and celebrations a joy for all who had the pleasure of attending. The Christmas holiday was her favorite and she looked forward to decorating her home every year. Her grandchildren, who affectionately called her Benny, were especially fond of Christmas mornings spent with family, where her collection of Santa Claus decor was proudly displayed to create a winter wonderland that will be remembered fondly.

Nancy is survived by her teenage sweetheart and husband of 57 years, John Barca, her three children and their spouses, Laura and Bruce Boudreau, David and Kelly Barca, Paul Barca and Terri Mellen Spruce, four grandchildren, Lydia and David Barca Jr., Kara and Brett Boudreau, her sister Pearl Poirier, brother in law Thomas Barca, sister in law Louise Casella and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Florence, for whom she was a caretaker for many years, her father Howard, her sisters Vivian Bandzul and Muriel Boback and sister-in-law Ann Kominik.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 10:30 am until Noon at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central St, Farmington, NH with a memorial service to immediately follow. To express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
