DOVER - Nancy McDaniel Dubois, 87, died on Sunday, July 19, 2020 following a long period of ill health. Nancy was born on March 10, 1933, in Dover, N.H., the daughter of Andrew McDaniel and Gertrude (Lockwood) McDaniel.
Nancy was educated in Dover schools, graduating from Dover High School, as the Valedictorian, in 1951. She graduated, Phi Beta Kappa, from UNH in 1956 with a degree in Medical Technology.
Nancy worked as a Medical Technologist at Mary Hitchcock, in Hanover, N.H.; Wentworth Douglas, in Dover; and Portsmouth Regional, in Portsmouth. She also worked at the Salinas Community Hospital, in Salinas California. Nancy loved to sew and made most of her clothes and those of her daughter.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother John McDaniel. She is survived by her husband, Lieutenant Colonel Raymond E Dubois (US Army, ret.), and her two children: Doctor Susan R. Dubois and her husband Jonathan Taft; and Captain Mathew P. Dubois (US Navy ret.) and his wife Christine (Padilla) Dubois. She is also survived by three grandsons; Christian Dubois and his wife Brittany, Justin Dubois and his wife Vivian, and Jacob Dubois, as well as two great grandchildren, Ryker and Margot Dubois.
