CONCORD - DHHS announced 25 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Thursday including almost a third from Strafford County where eight new cases were identified.

One new hospitalized case was identified for a current total of 21.

DHHS also announced one additional death related to COVID-19, a man from Rockingham County 60 or older.

Rochester Fire and EOC Chief Mark Klose said he couldn't comment on the Strafford County spike, because he is not apprised of county numbers, however, he noted that Rochester now has four current cases, not the six the state reported on Thursday.
