LEBANON, Maine - New Bridge Marina over the last year has added five acres of parking and a 3,000 square-foot marine repair shop where they can fix anything from pontoon to fishing boats as well as personal watercraft, marina owner Mark Mahoney said on Friday.

Mahoney said the repair shop is fully staffed enabling them to keep it open year round and open seven days a week during the summer. The repair shop is headed up by Billy Mahoney, partner and lead technician

"I know when there's just a few months of summer how important it is to get your boat repaired as soon as possible, and that's why we're doing it," Mark Mahoney said.

New Bridge Marina has also had a New Hampshire depot and delivers to local lakes including Alton ramp and Lake Winnepesaukee.

The enlarged parking area on New Bridge Road will allow for about 50 vehicles with trailers, Mark Mahoney said.

Meanwhile, the Blue Canoe ice cream and snack shop is open just weekends for now, but will be open more hours come July.

They've also added five new pontoon boats and are awaiting delivery of one more.
