New website to list city services, community events

ROCHESTER - The City of Rochester announced today it has launched a brand new online news and events portal with the latest happenings in Rochester.

The new website features the latest community news in each city department including city services, business, schools, arts, recreation, and public safety. The site also includes a community-wide events calendar so residents, visitors and business owners can explore upcoming events happening in the City, all in one place.

"We are so excited to be launching this new resource for our community where we can share news and events across city departments," City Manager Daniel Fitzpatrick said. "I encourage residents to check out the news portal and share it with their social networks to spread the word about our newly designed site."
