ROCHESTER - The city's ongoing sewerage rehabilitation work will continue between Sunday and April 16.

During this time crews are scheduled to work on North Main Street on April 12, Wakefield Street on April 13, South Main Street on April 14, Columbus Avenue on April 15, and Liberty Street on April 16. This work includes the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining and will take place at various locations along these streets. This schedule is subject to change.

The City of Rochester previously contracted National Water Main Cleaning Company (NWMCC) to perform sewer rehabilitation at various locations throughout the City.

As work progresses, residents and businesses directly affected will receive advisory notices in advance. These notices will include important information about the rehabilitation process, temporary service disruptions, parking restrictions (if applicable), and when sewer service will be reinstated.

During this work, residents may experience a temporary loss of sewer service, typically lasting several hours. Advisory notices will also provide clear instructions on how to prepare, as well as contact information for NWMCC staff who can assist with any questions or concerns.

For questions, please refer to the contact information included in the advisory notices provided by NWMCC.
