NH Farm Museum's Dairy Day set for June 23

MILTON - The New Hampshire Farm Museum's annual Dairy Day later this month will feature cheese and whipped cream making as well as the farm's own version of Cow Bingo.

Organizers of the event promise plenty of new additions to the event plus many other returning favorites, all designed to be enjoyed by adults and children, alike.

This year's Dairy Day is set for June 23 from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m.

Besides cheese and whipped cream, folks will also be able to use an antique churn to make ice cream, milk the farm's pretend cow and interact with many at the farm who will roam the property in colonial dress.

Eventgoers will also be able to learn about dairy goats and products from the Clever Clover 3H group and the Ever-Green Gables Farm.

Cow Bingo cards will be available for 25 cents each.

There will also be tractor rides, animal mask making and a hidden milk cap hunt, the winner of which will win a special prize.

House tours to see and understand the use of dairy products over the years begin at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 1 and 2 p.m.

Admission prices: adults $7, children $4, family $20 and members $4.
