MILTON - The New Hampshire Farm Museum announced this week they will be opening their season on May 22.

Below is their current listing of events.

May 16. Eager Beaver Cleanup Day at the New Hampshire Farm Museum, 10 to 3, 1305 White Mountain Highway, Milton, NH. Come help us get ready for the opening season as we prepare for our Celebrating 250 Years series of events in 2026! Bring your garden rake, clippers, garden hoe, and work glover. Join in with neighbors and make new friends as we cleanup the outside property, prune bushes, clear nature trails, and prepare the numerous buildings before opening day. We'll provide a light lunch. Children with parents are encouraged to join in, too! Great for teens who need community service hours! 603-652-7840

May 30. Celebrating 250 Years: World War II on the Farm. 10 to 4. The New Hampshire Farm Museum, 1305 White Mountain Highway, Milton, NH. Baker Company, 1st Battalion, 22nd Marine Regiment, a World War II reenacting group portraying the life o f U.S. Marines in the Pacific. Camp set up, live demos, historic Jones house tours, 1940's kitchen with ration coupons, rationed foods. Victory Garden. Tractor rides. Music of Vaughn Monroe in the parlor. Sample bread pudding. Food available for purchase. Adults $15. Seniors $13. Children $10. Members and Blue Star families free. Veterans free today!

June 6. Annual Meeting and Potluck Dinner at the New Hampshire Farm Museum. 4 to 7:30 at the Plummer Homestead, 1273 White Mountain Highway, Milton, NH. Guest speaker: Steven Pannish, Chairman, Milton Conservation Committee. "Identifiable Invasive Weeds and Removal" at 5 p.m. Potluck dinner to follow. Presentation of the year in review and the proposed budget. (Only members can vote.)

June 13. Granite State Street Rodders. 4 to 7. The New Hampshire Farm Museum, 1305 White Mountain Highway, Milton, NH Cars, music, food, 50/50 raffles, and fun! Come check out cool cars and trucks from every generation! $5 entry fee for show cars and trucks. Trophies awarded to the top 3 vehicles at each show! A NHFM trophy awarded at each show. The event is free and open to all. Food by donation!

June 20. Children's Day. 10 to 4. 10 to 4. The New Hampshire Farm Museum. 1305 White Mountain Highway, Milton, NH . Discover play from yesteryear with corn hole, hoops of grace, horseshoes, and more! Take a tractor ride to visit our farm friendly animals. Try your hand at our Big Yellow Barn Scavenger Hunt in the 1830's Jones Barn. Miniature Wells Fargo Coach rides for kids. Tractor rides for kids of all ages.! Storyteller, face painting, house and barn tours, field races, children's pie eating contest, food available for purchase, and more!

July 4. Celebrating 250 Years: 4th on the Farm. 10 to 4. The New Hampshire Farm Museum, 1305 White Mountain Highway, Milton, NH. Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of our nation! Special display of flags from the 17800's and 1800's. Reading of the Declaration of Independence. Musket firing demonstrations with Colonel Joseph Plummer. Strawberry shortcake and whipped cream. Historic Jones House and 1810 Tavern tours., Blacksmith Shoppe demos. Children's games on the lawn. Tractor rides. Bring your picnic lunch or food available for purchase.

Saturday, August 15. Celebrating 250 Years: Discovering Your Milton Roots., an Old Home Day event. Come immerse yourself in Milton's history. Abenaki presentation by Paul and Denise Pouliot. Historian and author Patrick O, Connelly will delve into Rochester, Milton, and Farmington's origins. Canoe restoration by Bob Bassett. Milton Historical Society, TPPA, and Town exhibits. Tours of the two historic homesteads dating back to the late 1700's. Visit with our farm friendly animals. Children's games and contests. Live music by banjo player Bob Kilham. Food available for purchase.
