To the editor:
Will Citizens of Rochester stop the unelected city management from using "their" tax dollars to pay dues to another unelected group?
The New Hampshire Municipal Association did more than just give out bad information, they also exposed their soft underbelly. Yup, they have no credibility.
They profess to be a non-profit, non-partisan association that works to strengthen New Hampshire cities and towns.
Time for a review of their simple sentence:
NHMA is Non-profit: False. our unelected civil servants, who are neither Civil nor Servants, who bestow upon this disguised vaudeville troupe of lichens, our tax dollars to pay, "their dues."
(lichens are plant like organisms that attach to things)
Apparently, all unelected city management "office" holders, pay dues to be guided, through the gauntlet of the phony inflatable term called "governance."
Do you think for a minute they'll use their money, while yours is so convenient?
NHMA is Non Partisan: False. they pander to the whims and "desires" of those unelected miscreants, who reign over the citizenry. Like the Rochester City Manager, who usually now comes from outside the city, and thus places too much power in the hands of one person.
If there were a strong dlected City Mayor, this problem may not have surfaced. I'm actually glad now that it did. We're now in the front row watching this crap shoot develop.
The current "neutered" mayor's "elective" function is relegated to monitoring a 3 or 5 minute clock, to shut the citizens down from speaking. When he's "off the clock," (sorry,) trying to get him to answer a question is like coaching a carrot out of the ground.
The goal is to Liquidate, (Financially Break) citizens from their assets, by incrementally accommodating these organizations with the whims or desires of panhandlers like this, to get a foothold within a community.
NHMA doled out legal advice, without any jurisdictional authority to do so.
This was something never brought before the court before.
Does NHMA strengthen towns? Absolutely not, they coddle the "alleged" managers that they (NHMA,) itself, likely recommended to run the city. They're a Clearing House.
This was all choreographed through malice and forethought.
Furthermore, we citizens will likely pick up the tab for all the legal fees accrued by the likes of the city manager and the city attorney.
They will try to use our tax dollars to defend their overstuffed egos.
Make them pay all court costs, and that of anyone who had to defend themselves out of their own pockets.
Furthermore, no pay raises for the remainder of their contract with the city.
They've laughed too much, all the way to the bank, at taxpayers expense.
