ROCHESTER - Noreen Elizabeth Sneirson, née Anctil, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 20, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Noreen, born on May 17, 1950 was the daughter of Ila and Neree Anctil and younger sister to Stephen Anctil.
She grew up in Gonic, and attended Spaulding High School in Rochester with Carl Sneirson, her high school sweetheart and husband of 50 years.
A devoted wife and mother, Noreen spent most of her life taking care of Carl and their daughter Jessica as well as other family members and friends. Noreen worked as a teller and customer service representative at Rochester Savings Bank before becoming a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed shopping with Jessica, loved to bowl, was a member of the Shapleigh Corner Store Monday Nighter's group and many antique car clubs and attended many antique car related events with Carl.
Noreen is survived by husband Carl Sneirson, daughter Jessica, her wife Alison and grandsons Ronin and Logan Sneirson, as well as her brother and his wife Stephen and Janet Anctil, and many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
