DOVER - Norman J. Beaulieu, 80, of 30 Holiday Drive, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at the Hyder Hospice House after a long illness. He was born April 9, 1936, in Gonic, the son of Octave and Alice (Burbank) Beaulieu.
Norm has resided in this area most of his life and also resided in Georgia and Florida. He served in the U.S. Marines and the military police while in Japan. He worked many years as a police officer for the City of Rochester.
The widower of Sybil (Couch) Beaulieu, he is survived by son, Kerry Beaulieu and wife Beth of Middleton, N.H.; daughter, Kolly Howser and husband Lee of Suffolk, Va.; grandchildren, Aaron, Tara, Adam, Alisha; great-grandchildren, Kaia and Jaden; cousin, Wayne Colby and good friend, John Watson.
