North Hampton man indicted in Newmarket woman's fatal shooting

NEWMARKET - A North Hampton man has been indicted in the fatal shooting of a Newmarket woman last July.

Stephen Field, 40, was formally charged with second-degree murder for recklessly causing the death of Kylie Fritz, 38, in Newmarket on July 28.

Field's initial arrest in Fritz' killing came after he made statement regarding her well being following his arrest for drunken driving following a crash in the area of North Hampton Road at Route 101.

Her body was located by police a short time later.

In the indictment Field was also charged with one count of falsifying physical evidence.

He has waived his arraignment on these charges.
