ROCHESTER - Albert W. Pepin, 84, died Saturday Sept. 14, 2013, at Seal Rock Healthcare in Saco, Maine, after a period of failing health.

He was born in Rochester, on Feb. 16, 1929, a son of Phidias and Marie Valia (Nadeau) Pepin and lived all of his life in Rochester. Before his retirement he worked as an Industrial Sales Manager at Clarostat in Dover. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, where he was an usher for many years, and was a former school board member at the Holy Rosary School. His most enjoyable pastime was watching his children and then grandchildren play sports.

Surviving members of the family include: one daughter, Pam Gelinas and her husband Dan of Rochester, three sons, Michael Pepin and his wife Joyce of Hollis, Tod Pepin and his wife Maureen of Mooresville, N.C., and Tom Pepin and his wife Tracy of York, Maine. He also leaves 10 grandchildren, Eric Gelinas and wife Jen, Bryan Gelinas and Shannon Doyle, Kasey Gelinas and fiancee Phillip Hunter, Christine Pepin and fiancee Ian Morrison and David Pepin, Aaron, Tyler and Julia, Talia and Terra Pepin, great-grandchildren, Lily, Benjamin, Jackson, Saige, and Kellan, as well as one brother, Robert Pepin and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Holy Rosary Church, 189 North Main Street, Rochester, N.H., for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11 a.m. on Monday 9/23/2013, followed by burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
