ROCHESTER - Carol Florence Roy, 68, died Tuesday, Sept., 24, 2013, at the Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, after a period of failing health.

Carol was born in Manchester, on March 9th, 1945, a daughter of Wilfred and Lillian (Lachance) Nutbrown and had lived all of her life in Rochester. She was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School in Rochester and enjoyed quilting, fishing and loved the sun. Her family was everything to her. She adored her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her friendship with her cousin, Joan.

Surviving members of the family include: her husband of 49 years, Richard Roy of Rochester, one son, Stephen Roy and his daughter Amanda Libby Roy of Rochester, one daughter Lisa Payne and her husband William and their daughters, Alyssa and Annie Payne of San Antonio, Texas, an aunt Genevieve Morin, a sister-in-law Susan Smith and her husband Charles, and several nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to express immense gratitude to the medical team at WDH, specifically, Dr. Civiello, Dr. Quadan and Dr. Marszalek and nurses, Stephanie, Grace, Sandy, Kathy, Barbara and Sue. We will be eternally grateful.

ARRANGEMENTS
