ROCHESTER - Caroline Goodell, 84, of 67 Ten Rod Rd died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving and caring family.

Born September 30, 1930 in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Lucille (Houle) Fisher.

Caroline was a lifelong resident of Rochester. She was a graduate of Spaulding High School class of 1948. General Electric, Luneaus Restaurant and Spaulding High School Cafeteria were among a few of her jobs, but the one her family remembers most was being a loving mom to her six children. She also enjoyed many activities, including cooking, dancing, gardening, bird watching out her back window and camping with her family at Whites Lake and up in Pittsburg.

Members of her family include her husband of 61 years, George Goodell of Rochester, her son Mike Goodell and his wife Trish of Ashford, Conn., daughters; Gail Wade of Tamworth, Karen Brown and her husband Robert of Milton, Wendy Fontaine and her husband David of New Durham, Cindy Ruginski and her husband Jay of Buxton, Maine. her sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren who were very special and meant the world to her, a stepsister, Sandra Johnson of Jacksonville Fla., two special nieces; Lee Williams and Nancy Beede. She was predeceased by her son, Mark Goodell in 1995 and a granddaughter.
