ROCHESTER - Deane F. Warren, 78, of 3 Florence Drive died Monday Dec. 16, 2013, at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover after a period of failing health.

He was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Groveton, the son of Leon and Gladys (Christy) Warren. Deane was a graduate of Groveton High School and N.H. Technical Institute. He served in the Army from 1953-1956. Mr. Warren has resided in this area since 1957 and worked for Prudential Insurance in sales for many years. Before that time he worked for Kidder Press in design and as a draftsman for Raytheon. He was a member of the American Legion Post #7 of Rochester and the VFW. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting.

 

Members of his family include his wife of 54 years Shirley (Woodward) Warren of Rochester; sons, Steven and Mark Warren both of Rochester; daughter Tracey Warren of Milton Mills; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, his sister-in-law Beverly Warren of Texas. He was predeceased by one brother Keith Warren and his half-sister, Phyllis McFarland.
