Obit: Diane Carpenter ... enjoyed gardening

ROCHESTER - Diane Margaret Carpenter, 45, of Rochester, died on Jan. 7 in her home. Born on April 5, 1968 to Donald Carpenter Sr. and the late Joyce Carpenter, Diane resided in Rochester her entire life.

Diane worked as an Adjudicator for the National Passport Center. When she was not working, she enjoyed traveling - especially to the beach - spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, being outdoors, bowling, and gardening.

Diane is predeceased by her mother. She is survived by her father; her son Travis LaPanne of Rochester; daughter, Ashlynn Lovejoy of Rochester; one brother, David Carpenter of Kansas; one sister, Donna Mathieu and her husband Joe of Grand Junction, Colo.; two nieces, Stephanie and Nicole Mathieu; her grandchildren, Cole, Connor, Blake, and Aiden; her dear friend Lisa Paone, and many close friends and family.
