ROCHESTER - Fred L. Evans, 59, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013.

He was born in Dallas, Texas, on April 9, 1954, a son of James and Grace (Smith) Evans and had been living in Rochester since 1995, moving from New Mexico. He retired in 1995 as a Master Sergeant from the Air Force after serving for 20 years. He was currently employed at Lydall in Rochester. Fred was a former member of the American Legion as well as the Elks and loved his dogs.

Surviving members of the family include: his wife, Robin Evans of Rochester, three daughters, Sarah Luneau of East Rochester, Jennifer Furr of North Carolina and Emily Scickney of Rochester, one stepson, Rochard Tucker of Rochester, one stepdaughter, Bryanna Meredith of Dover, seven grandchildren and one sister Helen.

Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, N.H. on Saturday, 9/21/2013, from 10 to Noon.
