She was born in Springvale on April 14, 1925, a daughter of the late Jack and Thelma (Demonds) Muchmore.
She was employed at Sanford Shoe Shop and later at H.D. Goodall Hospital.
She is survived by her son, Valiant Marquez, and his wife, Doris, of Shapleigh; two grandchildren, Penelope Collinsworth and Valerie Suhy, of Waterboro; and three great grandchildren, Madison, Troy and Lydia.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16, at 11 a.m. at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
