ROCHESTER - Jean Schurman Fuller Swett, 71, died peacefully on November 7 surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born on April 21, 1942, in Portsmouth, N.H., second child of the late Kenneth R Schurman and Katherine (Burge) Schurman, longtime residents of Greenland, N.H.

She is survived by her six children; Kenneth Fuller of Rochester, Stephen Fuller of Hampton Falls, Vicki Geis of Exeter, Donald Fuller of Farmington, James Fuller of Hampton and Gregory Fuller of Newmarket, one brother Paul Schurman, 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Jean is predeceased by her son Jeffery Fuller and her brother Raymond Schurman.

Jean attended Greenland Central School, Portsmouth High School and Purdue University. Jean was most happy near the ocean whale watching, or cruising to the Isles of Shoals. She loved traveling with her family. She was a longtime member of Christian Life Church in Eliot, Maine.

Her indomitable spirit, faith in the Lord and love of family are her legacy.
