Obit: Konstantin Grigorakakis ... was born in Greece

MILTON - Konstantin "Kostas" Grigorakakis, 65, of Milton, died Aug. 10, 2013, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a period of declining health.

Born in Haria, Lakonias, Greece, on Sept. 18, 1947, he was the son of Nikolaos and Aimelia (Arnaouti) Grigorakakis. 

He immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1971 and settled in Manchester where he lived for many years. Later, he resided in Rochester before moving to Milton in 2004.

Mr. Grigorakakis served in the Greek Army.

He was a master electrician as well as an entrepreneur in the Manchester and Rochester areas.

He especially enjoyed spending time on the porch of his home listening to the loons on Milton Three Ponds. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother of Greece, family members include his son, Peter G. Grigorakakis and his wife, Cindy, of Manchester; one brother, four sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church, 111 Island Pond Road, Manchester, N.H. 03103.
