ROCHESTER - Pauline M. Gagne, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, at her home, after a period of failing health.

Pauline was born in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of Leon and Imelda (Vachon) Marquis and was a longtime resident of both Rochester and Concord. She worked for many years as a Linotype setter for Yankee Typesetters, and then worked and was co-owner in the amusement industry for 30 years. Pauline was a member of the TNT Book Club, a member of the International Independent Showmans Club and enjoyed cooking and word games.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Gagne. Surviving members of the family include: two sons, Marc Gagne and Paul Gagne and his wife Therese, both of Tampa Florida, three daughters, Susan Cosgrove and her husband Carl of Rochester, Janice Desmarais and her husband Fred of Manchester, and Jane Turner and her husband Steve of Belmont. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a stepbrother, Frank Wilson of Strafford, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
