ROCHESTER - Ronald P. Minion, 79, of 34 Watercrest Drive, Rochester and formerly of Haverhill, Mass., passed away at Frisbie Memorial Hospital on February 6, 2014.

The son of Thomas D. and Mary (Greaney) Minion, Ronald was born on Jan. 23, 1935, in Haverhill, Mass. Ronald graduated from Haverhill High School in 1953, and from Bentley College in 1955. After college, Ronald served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1959. Ronald married Maureen Arsenault on May 19, 1962. He worked as an office manager for several car dealerships and trucking companies.

Ronald was a communicant of St. Mary Church of Rochester. He was a Past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus of #5004 of Christ the King Council in Groveland, Mass., and Treasurer of #2048 in Rochester the F. McDonald Council.

Along with his parents, Ronald is predeceased by his brother Conrad Stone.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife Maureen (Arsenault) Minion of Rochester; two sons, Michael P. Minion of Danville, and David E. Minion of Hampton; his brother, Donald Minion; his sister Margaret Emerson; two grandchildren, Stephanie Strydom and her husband Paul, and Michael P. Minion Jr; and one great grandchild, Lucas P. Strydom.
