Obit: Vaughn Raymond Walsh ... enjoyed skiing

ROCHESTER - Vaughn Raymond Walsh, 82, died Thursday, December 5, 2013, at his home after a period of failing health.

Vaughn was born in Rochester on March 1, 1931, the son of John and Emelia (Martineau) Walsh and was a lifelong resident of Rochester. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School, a former member of the UNH Ski Team and a Navy veteran. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Club Victoire. Vaughn loved all sports, especially hockey and loved ice fishing, skiing and camping.

Surviving members of the family include: one daughter, Stacey Graham of Phoenix, Ariz., and her daughter, Natasha Graham of Phoenix, and several stepchildren and cousins
