Omicron cases continue surge as hospitalizations rise 10% in 2 weeks

CONCORD - State DHHS officials on Friday announced 2,258 new positive test results for COVID-19.

There are now 18,462 current COVID-19 cases diagnosed in New Hampshire. Of those with complete information, there are 906 under the age of 18 and the rest are adults.

Strafford County saw an additional 220 cases.

DHHS also announced 12 additional deaths, including two under the age of 60.

There are currently 393 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19, about 10 percent more than two weeks ago.

In New Hampshire, since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 257,793 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed.
