ROCHESTER - One Rochester motorist was injured and another cited in a two-vehicle crash near The Ridge shopping center during rush hour Wednesday afternoon.
The collision occurred around 4:10 p.m. when police say Karol Ware, 69, was driving a Kia Sedona northbound on Farmington Road and making a left to enter the shopping plaza when Wesley Eaton, 23 of East Rochester, was headed south on Farmington Road in a Ford Mustang. The two vehicles crashed in the southbound lane.
Eaton was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for nonlife threatening injuries, while Ware was summonsed for failure to yield.
