ROCHESTER - A Berwick couple was arrested on Saturday in the theft of a diamond ring from Bea's Jewelers at the Lilac Mall.

The incident occurred earlier in the day when police say they came into the store, took the ring and fled in a vehicle seen by store employees.

As a result of brief investigation, Raymond Gouin, 27, and Crysta Greenier, 22, both of Wentworth Road, Berwick, were arrested.

Gouin was charged with conspiracy to commit theft by unauthorized taking and Greenier was charged with willful concealment. The charges are both Class A felonies due to the price of the ring taken.

Gouin was released on personal recognizance and will be arraigned later this month in Strafford County Superior Court, while Greenier's bail was set at $5,000 cash. She is currently being held at the Strafford County Jail and will be arraigned on her charge Monday at Strafford County Superior Court.
