Ossipee man seriously hurt in early morning Chesley Hill Rd. crash

ROCHESTER - An Ossipee man was seriously injured early today when his car veered off Chesley Hill Road and struck a rock.

The single-car crash occurred in the area of 200 Chesley Hill Road around 2:25 a.m. when police say that a 2018 Toyota Corolla driven by Tyler Marchisio, 24, left the roadway and struck a large rock.

Investigators say Marchisio failed to negotiate a curve and struck a large patch of ice on the northern the side of the road just prior to impact.

Marchisio was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as serious but nonlife threatening injuries.

The Toyota sustained major damage and had to be towed.
