Papa Gino's gets Rochester nod as People's Choice

The Rochester Rotary Club recently announced winners in its 5th Annual Pizza Bowl on Jan. 26.

The major sponsor of the event was Federal Savings Bank www.fsbdover.com, and was held at the Rochester Elks Lodge.

Participating establishments included Bella Fresca, Clemento’s Pizzeria & Brew, Domino’s of Rochester, Little Caesars of Rochester, Fat Tony’s Italian Grill, New England Pizza, Papa Gino’s of Rochester and Patriot Pizza. 

The winners included:

Best Crust: Bella Fresca
Best Sauce: Papa Gino’s of Rochester
Best Cheese: Clemento’s Pizzeria & Brew
Best Specialty Pizza: Patriot Pizza’s Meat-lovers pizza 
Overall People’s Choice: Papa Gino’s of Rochester 
Proceeds from the event will benefit many local charities in the Rochester region.
