SANFORD, Maine - Paul H. Huppe, 70, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Paul was born January 2, 1949 in Rochester, N.H. The son of Bertrand and Terry (Vachon) Huppe, he lived in Sanford for the last 13 years.
He graduated from Spaulding High School in 1967. Paul worked as a Project Superintendent at PNSY, dedicating his life to his job and family. He officially retired in 2005, but continued as an independent government contractor. Paul worked hard to provide for and take care of his family, who meant the world to him.
Paul loved playing golf, fishing, antiquing, playing softball, woodworking, and puttering around outside. However, he got the most enjoyment when he was spending time doing things with his children, granddaughter, family and friends.
Paul is survived by his son Aaron Huppe and wife Paula, of Rochester; daughter Nicki Strout and husband Steve of New Durham, N.H.; brothers Dorian Huppe and wife Gail of Portsmouth, Va., Don Huppe of Dover, N.H.; sister Jean Huppe and Wanda Crawford of East Wakefield, N.H.; granddaughter Callie Huppe of Rochester; a friend Carole Haile. Paul was predeceased by the mother of his children Pat Huppe and brother Michael Huppe.
