MILTON MILLS - Perley A. Lemieux, 84, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House. He was born in Sanford, Maine on August 28, 1933, the son of William and Alma (St. Jean) Lemieux.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucille (Wood) Lemieux of Milton Mills; three daughters Robin Palmer of Warner, Susan Reed of Acton, Maine and Linda Montgomery of Dunbarton; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and more on the way; three sisters Lucille Collette of Fitchburg, Mass., Gloria Woodard of Farmington, and Patricia Legro of Sanford, Maine.
A Korean War veteran, Perley served in the Army and later retired as a Master Sgt in the Army Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a shipwright before retiring.
