NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - Phillip W. Canney Sr., born January 7, 1961, of Rochester, N.H., died peacefully in his home in New Port Richey Fla., at the age of 55, on Sunday, January 24, 2016. He was surrounded by family and friends.

Phillip was the son of Clayton Canney Sr., and Dorothy E. Canney of Rochester, N.H.
Phillip was a native to N.H., but found that he also enjoyed the peacefulness of Maine and the warmth in Fla. He had a passion for the wilderness, he enjoyed doing anything that had to do with being outdoors whether it was for work or fun, and he loved the NE Patriots!
Phillip is survived by his son Phillip Canney Jr., and his Daughter Tiffany Townsend, and several grandchildren, his two brothers Fred Canney, Clayton Canney Jr., and his sister Robin L. Canney, several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces Nephews and Cousins.
