ROCHESTER - Phyllis Jean Roy {Sandy Bear} 67, died unexpectedly at her home in Rochester on 4-13-20. Born in Dover NH July 15, 1952, daughter of Jean and Leah Roy.

Phyllis is survived by 2 sisters Cheryl (spouse Alfred) Denoncourt of Center Ossipee and Penny Peace. Daughter Tina Marie Lambert, granddaughter Amanda Seale and grandson Alexander Austin all from Rochester, Son Wayne Lambert of NY.

Preceded in death by her Parents and 2 Brothers Bruce Roy and Lawrence Roy.

She graduated from Woodman Park Elementary School and attended Dover High School, both in Dover. She was an active member of Journey Baptist Church in Barrington and other groups in the area.

She lived most of her life in Dover and Rochester. Phyllis was an avid bear collector with her favorite being Pooh Bear. She was interviewed and featured in an article in a local newspaper on her hobby. Often donating bears to various charities in the area. It brought great joy to her to gift bear(s) to others. She spent much of her time doing various crafts also.

She enjoyed going to bingo, Foxwoods, shopping, yard sailing and eating out with her sister Cheryl. She had many nieces, nephews and friends that she loved. A truly generous and kind lady to everyone. She will be missed by many.
