ROCHESTER - Phyllis Jean Morin-Forrest, 77, of Rochester, died Sunday night, February 19, 2017, at Rochester Manor. She was born in Dover, N.H., on July 12, 1939, a daughter of Frederick Howard and Elizabeth May (Quint) Colbath. She grew up in Berwick, attending local schools.
On August 6, 1957, she married Roland Joseph Morin, sharing 45 years together until his death in March 1998. Phyllis married her current husband, John Forrest, on July 14, 2001.
Phyllis worked for several years in area shoe shops, including Somersworth Shoe, and Colby Footwear. In her spare time, she enjoyed several crafts and solving puzzles.
She is predeceased by her first husband of 45 years, Roland Joseph Morin.
Survivors include her husband, John Forrest of Rochester; two sons, Dewayne Morin of Rochester, Arthur "Butch" Morin and wife Susan of Rochester; her daughter, Linda Bryant and husband Timothy of Rochester; two brothers, Michael Howard and Dana Lee Colbath, both of Berwick; two sisters, Diana Adams and husband Rusty of Sanford, Janice May Colbath of Berwick; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
