ROCHESTER - The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts will present a collection of original Picasso lithographs beginning Feb. 1 in its downtown gallery located at 18 North Main St.

The exhibition, part of the Picasso Estate Collection, is in association with RoGallery of New York.

In a span of more than 75 years, Picasso dazzled the art world with his versatility and genius.

The works of art in this selection were selected from the personal collection inherited by Marina Picasso, Picasso's granddaughter.

After Picasso's death in 1973, his granddaughter authorized the printing of these original lithographs, which were meticulously created after the original works (Oil Paintings, Watercolors, Pastels, Charcoal Drawings, etc.) by Master Chromist Marcel Salinas, who worked closely with Picasso during his lifetime.
The exhibit runs through March 29.

A small reception to open the exhibit is planned for Feb. 1 from 7-9 p.m.
To learn more about the exhibition or to RSVP the free reception visit www.rochestermfa.org.
