Pickup truck takes out utility pole in early morning crash

ROCHESTER - A single-vehicle crash on Cross Road early today took down a telephone pole, but luckily no one was seriously injured, police say.

The accident occurred in the area of 368 Cross Road around 5:15 a.m. when police say Brandon Henner, 29, of Farmington was driving a GMC 1500 pickup truck traveling south, left the road and took out a utility pole.

Henner was evaluated by EMS on scene, but was not transported to the hospital. During the investigation the portion of Cross Road between the Farmington town line and Chestnut Hill Road was closed down.

The GMC was towed from the scene due to heavy front end damage.

The case is still under investigation at this time. Anyone with information about this collision is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7128.
