SOMERSWORTH - A pair of Somersworth residents arrested in two armed robberies at gas stations this past weekend are also suspects in another heist in Maine on Tuesday.

Matthew J. Mosner, 27, and Danielle M. Theoret, 25, both of 321 Tri-City Road, were both taken into custody on Tuesday.

Somersworth Police say the first robbery they learned of occurred on Sunday around 1:55 a.m., when they responded to the local Circle K/Irving for a reported robbery in which a male suspect indicated he had a gun and demanded money from the clerk. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The second occurred on Monday around 12:35 p.m., when they answered a call for another armed robbery at the Cumberland Farms on High Street. In that incident the armed male entered the store, brandished a firearm and demanded cash. Again, the male fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Mosner was charged with two counts of robbery, while Theoret was charged with two counts of accomplice to robbery, and a warrant out of Portsmouth on a theft charge.

During the course of this investigation, it was determined that an armed robbery had taken place at a Circle K/Irving in Wells, Maine, on Tuesday afternoon in which Mosner was also found to be a suspect.

He was also out on bail on an October armed robbery in York, Maine.

The investigation remains active, and the Somersworth Police Department appreciates any help from the public.
