PORTSMOUTH - The Bristol man arrested Friday after robbing a Durham farmstand where he allegedly sexually assaulted one of three women he tied up before fleeing, was arraigned in Portsmouth District Court on Monday.

Joshua Flynn, 46, of Bristol, also known as Joshua Anderson, waived his arraignment and is being held on $500.000 bail.

Flynn is a person of interest in three Rochester robberies last week as well as separate robberies in Somersworth and Dover.

Officials placed the high bail after learning he had been recently released from a Rhode Island prison and had escaped incarceration before.

Flynn is alleged to have fled the farm in a stolen vehicle after tying up the three victims, according to police.

He was taken into custody at the C&J terminal in Greenland Friday afternoon.

At the arraignment it was revealed Flynn is accused of two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, details of which were not released, and that two of the three women tied up were employees of the farm.

Rochester Police Capt. Jason Thomas said on Monday that police are continuing to investigate Flynn's possible ties to the Rochester robberies, which occurred at two city Shell gas stations and the Milton Road Family Dollar last week.
