DOVER - Dover Police say the initial image of a suspect's car in a hit-and-run crash on Central Avenue on Monday has been ruled out as the suspect vehicle and have released a new image they now believe is the one involved in the crash.

The vehicle being sought by police is a black sedan with New Hampshire license plates and likely has damage to the front passenger side corner.

The crash occurred in a Central Avenue crosswalk near TD Bank, after which the southbound vehicle turned west onto Washington Street.

The pedestrian who was struck, 37-year-old Shane McCall of Dover, remains hospitalized at Wentworth Douglass Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
