ROCHESTER - The Rochester Police Benevolent Association recently accepted a generous donation from Progressive Foods Inc. in the form of numerous Dunkin' gift cards.

The idea behind the donation is to have Rochester Police Officers reward community members for good behavior and random acts of kindness. The Rochester Police Department is calling it the "Campaign of Kindness."

Officers will be on the lookout for people doing the right thing, being kind to one another, or helping their neighbors. If spotted, officers plan to reward people with Dunkin' gift cards.

"2020 has been a difficult year for many," said Kyle Danie, Community Engagement Officer, Rochester Police Department "The little acts of kindness we show towards one another could go a long way."

The Police Department acknowledged Progressive Foods Inc. and Dunkin' for the donation.

"We'd like to thank them for choosing us to spread this important message to our community," Danie continued.
