Police on hunt for suspect in Holy Rosary bank job

ROCHESTER - The Holy Rosary Credit Union on Brock Street was robbed on Saturday by a lone suspect who escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man approached a teller at the bank around 10:35 a.m., handed them a note demanding money and then fled on foot toward Nichole Street.

No weapon was shown.

The suspect is described as white, 5'7" to 5'11", with a thin build, brown hair and blue eyes.

He appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, and was wearing a maroon jacket and red sweatpants.

A Rochester K9 unit was called to the scene, but the track was unsuccessful.

No one was injured in the incident.

Rochester Police are actively investigating the robbery and are asking anyone who may have information to call the police department 603-330-7128.
